Area Outside our Wooden Gates Which SMC Say They Own

I am putting the details of our land ownership of the land adjacent to our house because Shropshire Mini Mix say the land outside our wooden gates is theirs.  It isn't.

It is also not part of the land which is subject to the current Land Registry Court case.

This is the land which my father bought in 2004.  Note that the plan with the measurements on it  was sent in to the Land Registry, and is signed by two Directors of J & H Parry & Sons.

If anyone wants to check where 5.3 metres extends to when measured from the stores building outwards you will find it is exactly in line with the new tarmac surfacing which is exactly in line with the verge.

I am including this very boring information in this blog because I expect a 'land grab' on this land. When I attached a copy of the Deed to the old security post it was immediately ripped down, so someone doesn't want people to know that this land is definitely owned by us.

It may be unpalatable to the occupants of this Industrial Park that this land is ours, but it is.

When the Industrial Park was bought by Ennstones from Parry's in 2005 this land had already been sold.  Ennstones never owned it and  therefore couldn't sell it to SMC in 2006.

SMC's Deed also explicitly states that it excludes land included in our Deed.

So SMC might feel pissed off that this land is not theirs, but that is hardly our fault.

As land was incorporated into the drive further down from us when the drive was resurfaced which is not owned by the companies in this Industrial Park we are very alive to the fact that the companies have no compulsion about just taking land from others without going through the legal process.

Indeed the same thing happened with Forestry Commission land to the north of the site.   The Area Forester at the time visited me for a cup of tea after telling them to pull their fence back off Forestry land.
